Forth 1 Celebrates 50 Years with ‘Forth 50 – LIVE!’ at Royal Highland Centre

Edinburgh’s Forth 1 is marking a major milestone in 2025, celebrating 50 years on air with an unmissable live event. ‘Forth 50 – LIVE!’ is set to take over the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston on Saturday, 31st May 2025, bringing together an all-star lineup of 90s pop dance icons for a nostalgic day of music and memories.

The event will showcase some of the biggest names from the golden era of dance music. Haddaway, known for the timeless anthem What Is Love, is set to deliver an electrifying performance, while Snap!, the act behind Rhythm Is a Dancer, will bring their signature high-energy sound. Fans can also expect unforgettable sets from Robin S, whose classic Show Me Love remains a club staple, and Corona, the voice behind The Rhythm of the Night.

Other dance music legends joining the lineup include Heather Small, lead singer of M People, whose soulful vocals on tracks like Moving On Up defined a generation, and K-Klass, the production duo behind the house hit Rhythm Is a Mystery. Whigfield, famous for the infectious Saturday Night, and powerhouse vocalists Rozalla, Angie Brown, Alison Limerick, and Mary Kiani are also set to take the stage.

Adding to the mix, D:Ream—best known for their uplifting hit Things Can Only Get Better—and Oceanic, the group behind Insanity, will complete what promises to be a lineup packed with nostalgia and energy.

The Royal Highland Centre, one of Scotland’s premier live event venues, provides the perfect backdrop for this milestone celebration. With Forth 1 presenters Boogie, Arlene, Martyn, Garry Spence, Steven Mill, and Callum Gallacher hosting and DJing throughout the day, fans can expect a festival atmosphere filled with classic tunes and good vibes.
