Ewan McVicar’s Pavilion Festival is set to return to Ayr’s Low Green on Saturday, May 3, 2025, promising an unforgettable experience for dance music enthusiasts. Building upon the success of previous years, this third edition boasts an impressive lineup and enhanced features to delight attendees.
The 2025 festival will showcase a diverse array of talent, including Ewan McVicar himself performing back-to-back with Ben Hemsley, as well as sets from DJ Seinfeld, Sally C, the legendary Annie Mac, and Rory McVicar. Additional artists such as Robert Hood, Ogazón, Dart, Optimo (Espacio), and Posthuman will also grace the stages, ensuring a dynamic musical journey throughout the day.
To enhance the festival experience, organizers have introduced the Electric Brae tent, a state-of-the-art, 5,000-capacity structure equipped with advanced weatherproofing, experiential lighting, and high-quality sound. Attendees can also explore various pop-ups and secret bars scattered across the site, adding an element of discovery to the festivities.
Reflecting on the festival’s mission, Ewan McVicar stated, “It’s always been about bringing something different to Ayr; DJs and artists that would never make it to the west coast normally. We are an independent festival, so it’s about helping the town, supporting home-grown, grass-roots talent, and celebrating the community.”
Following the main event, Pavilion Festival will present the STREETrave Ayr Beach Festival on Sunday, May 4, featuring performances from the Happy Mondays, 2 Bad Mice, A Guy Called Gerald, and more, offering a nostalgic nod to the region’s rich musical heritage.
